Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud presides over annual meeting of regional princes.

The Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, chaired the 32nd annual meeting of the regional princes at the Ministry’s headquarters in Jeddah. He conveyed greetings from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, emphasizing the importance of maintaining security and facilitating the affairs of all citizens, residents, and visitors across the Kingdom.
Prince Abdulaziz extended thanks to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed for the services provided to pilgrims during the holy month of Ramadan, commending the efforts of all sectors involved in this endeavor. He prayed for the continued security and prosperity of the country.
The meeting focused on enhancing security, stability, sustainable development, and serving the nation. Discussions included reports aimed at strengthening the capabilities of the regional Emirates, supporting development opportunities, enhancing non-profit sector capacities, and actively participating in achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Additionally, a geospatial platform was launched to provide integrated spatial data on the Ministry’s assets, buildings, lands, and projects. This interactive service allows for real-time access to indicators and analysis to support effective planning, decision-making, efficient spending, and coordination between projects and relevant entities, in line with the Ministry’s ongoing efforts in digital empowerment and smart government concept implementation across all sectors.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the regional princes made several recommendations to be submitted to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed for their consideration.
