Security Operations Center Receives Record-Breaking 2.9 Million Calls through Emergency Hotline (911)

The National Center for Security Operations received a total of 2,879,325 calls through the unified emergency number “911” in Riyadh, Makkah, and the Eastern Region in March 2025. This falls within the duties of the unified security operations centers in receiving and redirecting calls to the relevant security and service authorities using advanced automated systems. A specialized team, proficient in multiple languages, meticulously and professionally operates these systems around the clock.

In Makkah, the number of received calls totaled 1,031,253, while in Riyadh, there were 1,300,628 calls, and in the Eastern Region, there were 547,444 calls, making a total of 2,879,325 calls across the regions.
