King Salman Orders Naming Streets in Riyadh After Imams and Monarchs Following Crown Prince’s Proposal

In honor of the memory of the leaders and kings of Saudi Arabia, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has directed the naming of 15 squares in Riyadh after them. This directive was issued by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to coincide with the Kingdom’s celebration of its founding day on February 22nd each year.
This noble gesture embodies the care and attention of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed in preserving the great legacy of the leaders and kings who played a significant role in establishing and unifying the kingdom, fostering its development, enhancing its achievements, protecting its resources, safeguarding its lands, maintaining its security, and raising the stature of its people for over 300 years.
The 15 squares are strategically located on the main roads of the capital city of Riyadh. The directive includes the following names for the squares: “Imam Mohammad bin Saud Square, Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammad Square, Imam Saud bin Abdulaziz Square, Imam Abdullah bin Saud Square, Imam Turki bin Abdullah Square, Imam Faisal bin Turki Square, Imam Abdullah bin Faisal Square, Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal Square, King Abdulaziz Square, King Saud Square, King Faisal Square, King Khalid Square, King Fahd Square, King Abdullah Square, King Salman Square.”
