Fourth International Humanitarian Forum in Riyadh assembles experts from around the world

Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, the General Supervisor of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, announced details of the fourth edition of the Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum, organized by the center on February 24 and 25, 2025 in Riyadh. The event will bring together leaders, donors, workers, and experts in the humanitarian field from various countries worldwide, in partnership with the United Nations and its humanitarian organizations.
The media roundtable session with Dr. Al-Rabeeah emphasized that the forum, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, will gather specialists from around the world to discuss humanitarian challenges. The forum will feature high-level dialogues with elite researchers and specialists inside and outside the Kingdom on the role of humanitarian diplomacy in conflicts, disasters, humanitarian aid delivery, supply chains, and addressing displacement in times of increasing conflicts and natural disasters.
The event will include panel discussions, workshops, and various activities. The center will also sign agreements with international organizations on the sidelines of the forum as part of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian efforts. Dr. Al-Rabeeah highlighted the “Artificial Intelligence in Humanitarian Relief” hackathon organized by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid in collaboration with Alfaisal University during the forum. The aim is to utilize AI-based solutions to address critical humanitarian challenges in healthcare, bringing together technical and humanitarian experts to develop innovative solutions aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, focusing on AI, healthcare, and innovation as the key areas of emphasis.
