Bahrain – Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of Bahrain, attended an event hosted by the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Bahrain in celebration of the Saudi National Day. He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, along with other ministers and officials. Upon arrival, they were greeted by Saudi Ambassador Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairy, who conveyed greetings from Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the Saudi people.
Sheikh Khalid highlighted the deep-rooted historical ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, praising the efforts of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Salman in fostering a strong relationship between the two countries. He emphasized the achievements in strategic cooperation and integration across various sectors as a result of the joint efforts of the two leaders in serving the aspirations of both nations.
Furthermore, Sheikh Khalid recognized the foundational role of the Saudi state, from its inception under Imam Mohammed bin Saud to its unification by King Abdulaziz Al Saud, in establishing stability in the Arabian Peninsula. He acknowledged Saudi Arabia’s regional and international influence in upholding Islamic values and supporting just causes.
Sheikh Khalid expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s unwavering support for Bahrain, reflecting the shared destiny, principles, and values of the two countries, while also wishing Saudi Arabia continued progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.
