Deadline Approaching for Registration of Properties in 158 Districts in Riyadh, Medina, and Eastern Province by Next Thursday

The General Real Estate Authority announced the nearing end of the specified deadline for the initial property registration for 158 neighborhoods, including 37 in Riyadh and 119 in the Eastern Region. These include 79 neighborhoods in Dammam, 32 in Al Khobar, 8 in Al Khobar, and parts of neighborhoods in Al Madinah. The deadline for registration is set for Thursday, February 27, 2025.

The authority specified the neighborhoods in Riyadh where property registration will end, including areas such as Al Khair, Al Suwaidi, Sultana, Al Darihamiyah, Al Maathar, Ash Shurayfiyah, Umm Al Hamam East, Umm Al Hamam West, Al Badia, Al Uraija, Al Umul, Thulaim, Al Fotah, Skeireenah, Manfouha, Makal, Umm Salim, Al Oud, Al Yammamah, Al Wusayta, Salaam, Al Wusham, Jabrah, Al Batihah, Atiqah, As Salhiyah, Ad Duwaybah, Al Qura, Ash Shumaisi, Gubayra, Siyah, Al Jradiah, Al Marqab, Ad Dahha, Manfouhat Al Jadeedah, Ad Dirah, Ar Rafi’ah.

In Al Khobar, the registration will conclude in neighborhoods such as Ibn Sina, Al Khobar South, At Tuqbah, Al Bandariyah, Ar Rakah Al Janubiyah, Al Hizam Al Akhdar, At Tahliyah, Al Jisr, Al Corniche, Al Aqrabiyah, Al Bastan, Al Hizam Adh Dhahabi, Al Jawharah, Al Hudah, Al Khuzamah, Al Ulya, Al Hamra, At Taa’awn, As Sahil, Ar Rawabi, Qurtubah, Al Yarmouk, Madinat Al Amal, Al Iskan, Al Khobar North, Sanaiyat At Tuqba, Al Andalus, Ashabiliyah, Al Bahr, Al Khawr, Sanaiyat Al Fawaziyah.

The registration will also close in various neighborhoods in Al Qatif, such as Az Zuhur, Al Awjam, At Tallal, Al Faiha, Ar Rawabi, Hayy An Nahdah, Ar Rihaan, Al Maha. Additionally, registration will end in certain neighborhoods in Al Madinah, namely parts of Al Qubaybah, and parts of Abu Sadr.

The authority urged property owners within these mentioned neighborhoods to promptly register their properties through the Real Estate Register platform (www.rer.sa) before the registration period ends to benefit from real estate transaction execution services. The registration process will provide a property number and ownership registration document for each registered property unit. This document will include precise geographic coordinates, owner details, property descriptions, status, associated rights, obligations, and any property transactions, serving as a foundation for documenting property ownership and its related rights to enhance and sustain the real estate sector.

Failure to register properties within the specified period may result in financial penalties as determined by a specialized committee to review violations. Applications for property registration will continue in all announced regions even after the expiry of the registration period as indicated in the announcement.
