Monarch of the Holy Sites presides over Cabinet session.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud presided over a cabinet session held in Riyadh today. During the session, the council reviewed the discussions that took place between Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and leaders of several sisterly and friendly countries regarding regional and international issues.
The council expressed gratitude towards Russian President Vladimir Putin for his positive sentiments towards Saudi Arabia and its efforts in hosting fruitful discussions between Russia and the United States. The council reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing global security and peace through dialogue as the only way to resolve international crises.
Afterwards, the council discussed the results of Saudi Arabia’s participation in regional and international meetings to support multi-party work that serves sustainable development and addresses common global challenges. The council also looked forward to the outcomes of the Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum in unifying efforts and developing innovative solutions to enhance humanitarian response amidst increasing disasters and crises worldwide.
Furthermore, the council praised the Saudi Media Forum for its wide international participation and launch of initiatives to strengthen media incubators, financial and organizational transformations, talent support, and adoption of modern technologies. The council also deliberated on various topics including agreements and memorandums towards cooperation in crime fighting, civil defense, fire protection, and higher education and scientific research with countries like Poland, Tanzania, Brazil, Ivory Coast, Bahrain, the United States, and Guinea.
Other matters discussed included approvals on the final accounts of the Saudi Center for Economic Business, and promotions of employees to higher positions in various government departments. The council also reviewed annual reports from the General Authority for Statistics, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, and the Higher Education Fund, taking necessary actions in relation to those matters.
