Saudi Arabia rejects any unauthorized steps or measures outside the official framework of Sudan’s institutions

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom’s rejection of any illegal steps or procedures outside the framework of the official institutions of the Republic of Sudan that may affect its unity. This does not reflect the will of its brotherly people, including calls for the formation of a parallel government. The Kingdom reaffirmed its consistent position in supporting the sisterly Republic of Sudan, as well as its security, stability, and territorial integrity.
The Kingdom called on the Sudanese parties to prioritize the interest of Sudan over any factional interests and to work to avoid the risks of division and chaos. It reiterated its commitment to continue making every effort to stop the war in Sudan and achieve peace in line with the Jeddah Declaration signed on May 11, 2023.
Saudi Arabia opposes any unauthorized actions in Sudan that could undermine its unity and sovereignty, according to the Foreign Ministry. The Kingdom is steadfast in its support for the Sudanese Republic’s security, stability, and territorial integrity. It urged Sudanese parties to prioritize national interests over factional agendas and work to prevent division and chaos. Saudi Arabia is committed to continuing efforts to end the war in Sudan and achieve peace in accordance with the Jeddah Declaration signed on May 11, 2023.
