Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia Oversees the Delivery of 330 Housing Units Funded by Saudi Development Fund in Tunisia

The Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr, and the Tunisian Minister of Equipment and Housing, Sarah Zaafrani, oversaw the delivery of 330 collectively funded homes in the province of Ben Arous, south of the capital Tunis. This initiative is part of a larger project covering several Tunisian provinces, aiming to provide a total of 4715 social housing units with funding of $150 million from the Saudi Development Fund.
Minister Zaafrani expressed gratitude to the Saudi government for its continuous support to Tunisia across various stages. She highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to ensuring adequate housing and healthcare for Tunisian citizens. Ambassador Al-Saqr congratulated the beneficiary families, emphasizing the message of the Saudi leadership’s dedication to securing housing and health for citizens, as well as supporting growth and development in Tunisia through the Saudi Development Fund’s financing.
The Ambassador noted that the Kingdom looks forward to enhancing cooperation with Tunisia through the Saudi Development Fund, as well as collaborations between ministries, agencies, and joint committees in various sectors. This reflects the historic relations between the two countries and their mutual efforts to support housing and health sectors through financial aid provided by the Fund.
