Border patrols in the Al-Da’ir sector of Jazan region apprehended 5 Yemeni nationals for attempting to smuggle 90 kilograms of qat. The necessary legal procedures were carried out against them, and they were handed over to the relevant authorities along with the confiscated items.
Authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information regarding drug smuggling activities by contacting emergency numbers such as 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in other regions of the Kingdom. Additionally, reports can be made to the General Directorate for Drug Control at 995 or through email at 995@gdnc.gov.sa. All reports will be handled with complete confidentiality.
