King Salman’s Relief Program Launches School Feeding Initiative in Sierra Leone

The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid launched the School Nutrition Program in the Republic of Sierra Leone yesterday. Ten schools and 4,819 students benefited from this program during one academic year. The launch was attended by the Minister of Education in Sierra Leone, Mr. Konoard Sackie, the Acting Charge d’Affaires of the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Freetown, Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Hajji, the Consular Section Chief at the Embassy, Saleh bin Mohammed Al-Subai, and a team from the center.
During the inauguration, the Sierra Leonean Minister of Education expressed his sincere gratitude to the Saudi Arabian Kingdom, represented by the King Salman Center for Relief, for the valuable assistance provided to the education sector in his country. He highlighted that this vital program will support the educational plans of the Ministry.
This aid is part of the relief efforts undertaken by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah preserve him, through the King Salman Center for Relief, to several sisterly and friendly countries to distribute it to the most vulnerable groups.
