Deadline Set for March 10, 2025: Zakat Authority Urges Businesses to Submit Tax Deduction Models for Last February

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority in Saudi Arabia has called on entities subject to withholding tax in the Kingdom to submit their tax withholding forms for the month of February 2025 by March 10, 2025, at the latest. The authority urged entities to promptly submit their tax withholding forms through its website “zatca.gov.sa” to avoid the late payment penalty of 1% of the unpaid tax for every thirty days of delay from the due date.
Business sector taxpayers wishing to obtain more information about withholding tax were encouraged to contact the authority through the unified call center number “19993”, which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They can also reach out through the “Ask Zakat, Tax and Customs” platform on “X” at “@Zatca_Care”, by email at “info@zatca.gov.sa”, or through instant messaging on the authority’s website.
Withholding tax is imposed on all amounts paid from a source in the Kingdom to non-resident entities that do not have a permanent establishment in the Kingdom, as stipulated in Article 68 of the Income Tax Law and Article 63 of its Executive Regulations.
