Islamic Affairs Department hosts Ramadan Iftar banquet in Albania for fasting individuals

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché in the Kingdom’s Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized an Iftar banquet for fasting individuals in the Albanian capital, Tirana. The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Albania, Faisal bin Ghazi Hafzi, the Grand Mufti and Head of the Islamic Community Sheikh Bujar Spahiu, along with several ambassadors to Albania and Albanian Islamic figures. More than 400 fasting men and women benefited from the banquet, which is aimed at reaching approximately 10,000 fasting individuals in various regions of Albania.
Several attendees praised this generous gesture during the holy month of Ramadan by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in providing Iftar meals and distributing dates, especially coming from the Holy Land of Saudi Arabia. They commended the Kingdom’s efforts in serving Islam and Muslims around the world, as well as all the various programs it has offered for the Muslims in Albania. It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance implemented the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s programs for feeding the fasting and distributing dates this year in the Republic of Albania at the beginning of Ramadan. Five tons of dates were allocated, benefiting around 22,000 fasting individuals.
