King Salman’s Humanitarian Aid Distributes Hundreds of Food Baskets in Benin, Indonesia, and Syria, Benefitting 4,232 People across Three Countries

The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid distributed 400 food baskets yesterday to the most needy families in the city of Lokossa in the Mono District of the Republic of Benin, benefiting 2,400 individuals. This distribution is part of the Ramadan food basket project in Benin for the year 1446H. Additionally, the center distributed 585 food baskets to the most needy families in the Bentan area in Indonesia, benefiting 1,755 individuals, and 77 food baskets in the city of Nashabiyah in the countryside of Damascus in Syria. This is part of the Ramadan food basket distribution project for the year 1446H in the Syrian Arab Republic.

It is worth mentioning that the fourth phase of the “I’tam” project aims to distribute 390,109 food baskets in 27 countries during the month of Ramadan, benefiting 2,304,104 individuals, with a cost exceeding 67,064,000 riyals. This is part of the relief efforts provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Center for Relief, to assist needy people and countries around the world with various forms of relief support.
