Eastern Region Records Highest Rainfall at 2.5mm; Scattered Showers reported in 6 Areas in Past 24 Hours

The daily report from the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture regarding the amount of rainfall in all regions of the Kingdom revealed that “13” hydrological and climatological monitoring stations recorded scattered rainfall during the period from 9:00 am on Saturday, March 8th, to 9:00 am on Sunday, March 9th, 2025. Rainfall was reported in “Riyadh, Eastern Province, Asir, Jazan, Al-Baha, and Al-Jawf.”
The report highlighted that the Eastern Province recorded the highest average rainfall in the Kingdom with (2.5) mm in Salwa Crossing in the Al-Aridh Province, while Al-Nairiyah recorded (2.2) mm, Ras Mish’al in Al-Khobar recorded (1.6) mm, and Menife Border Guard in Jubail recorded (1.4) mm. The report also noted that Al-Jawf region recorded (2.2) mm in Sakaka, Al-Baha recorded (2.0) mm in Bani Hassan in Mandak, (1.2) mm in Al-Baha, Asir recorded (1.0) mm in Namas, Jazan recorded (0.8) mm in Farsan, and Dawadmi in the Riyadh region recorded (0.7) mm in Asir, and (0.6) mm in Al-Hafir.
