Saudi King’s Gift Illuminates Ramadan Tables at King Fahd Mosque in Sarajevo, the Heart of the Balkans

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the religious attaché at the Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Bosnia and Herzegovina, distributed a gift of luxurious dates from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – to the worshippers at King Fahd Mosque in the Bosnian capital, Sarajevo. The mosque is one of the largest in the Balkans region, accommodating more than 5000 worshippers, reflecting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s keenness to extend its generosity to Muslims around the world.

This distribution took place on the first day of Ramadan in 1446 AH, as part of King Salman’s date distribution program. Four tons of dates were distributed, benefiting around 3500 worshippers, in an atmosphere of spirituality that reflects the values of solidarity and compassion in this holy month.

The event was attended by the religious attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Bosnia, Amer bin Bunwan Al-Anzi, and several of its employees, who participated in this act as an expression of Saudi generosity wherever there is a need. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to King Salman for this blessed gesture, embodying his keenness to share the joy of Muslims in this noble month. They praised the significant efforts made by the Kingdom in serving Islam and Muslims in different parts of the world.

It is worth mentioning that King Salman’s date distribution program is being implemented this year in 102 countries worldwide, continuing the Kingdom’s leading role in supporting Muslims and enhancing the spirit of brotherhood and love among them. This initiative aligns with the wise leadership’s approach of generosity and sacrifice, further solidifying the Kingdom’s prominent position in serving Islam and Muslims.
