Ministry of Islamic Affairs Implements King Salman’s Date Distribution Program in Burkina Faso and Japan

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance carried out King Salman’s Gift Program in the country of Burkina Faso, distributing dates on the sixth day of Ramadan 1446 AH at the residence of the Kingdom’s embassy. The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Burkina Faso, Fahd Aldosari, and the Minister of the Burkinabe Red Cross, Dennis Bakiono, along with officials and members of the Presidential Council of the Federal Union.

The program included the distribution of 5 tons of high-quality dates, benefiting around 20,000 recipients. Similarly, in Japan, the Gift Program was implemented on the eleventh day of Ramadan 1446 AH at the Kingdom’s embassy in Tokyo. The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Dr. Ghazi bin Zakar, the Director of the Islamic World League office, Dr. Anas Mulaih, and the President of the Nidā’ Educational Center and the Japanese Crescent Moon Committee, Dr. Salim Rahman Khan, as well as several heads of Islamic associations and centers in Japan. The quantity of dates distributed in Japan was 3 tons, benefiting approximately 12,000 recipients.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance is implementing King Salman’s Gift Program to distribute dates in 102 countries, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to serving Islam and Muslims around the world.
