Transport Minister Inspects Progress of Operational Plans at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport

The Minister of Transport and Logistics, Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, visited Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Al-Madinah today. He was accompanied by the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, as well as executives, officials, and managers within the civil aviation sector.
During the visit, the Minister inspected the facilities and services of the airport, focusing on the arrangements made to facilitate the travel of pilgrims, ensure smooth movement of passengers and visitors, and maintain operations according to approved operational plans for the peak season of Umrah during the holy month of Ramadan in 1446 AH. The aim is to provide the best services that contribute to the comfort and ease of the guests of Allah through effective collaboration with governmental, security, and operational entities.
The Minister directed the intensification of efforts to facilitate the movement of visitors and travelers, ensuring a rich travel experience for them in line with the highest quality standards during both arrival and departure stages. This directive aligns with the guidelines of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, aiming to provide the best services for the guests of Allah. It also aims to achieve the targets set by the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics, the National Aviation Strategy, and the goals of Vision 2030 in the Kingdom.
