King Salman Medical and Educational City in Al-Mahrah Region Enhancing Health and Education Sectors in Yemen.

King Salman Medical and Educational City in Al Mahra governorate is one of the largest projects serving the health and education sectors in Yemen. The city covers an area of one million square meters and aims to support and enhance the capabilities of the health sector in Yemen, as well as improve the quality of medical services provided to Yemeni citizens.
The city hosts an important medical facility consisting of several essential components, including a 110-bed hospital with outpatient clinics, emergency departments, laboratories, radiology departments, anesthesia and nursing departments, as well as intensive care units for adults and children, surgical departments, a cardiac catheterization unit, and cardiac care.
The establishment of King Salman Medical and Educational City is part of a program to support the health sector by building and equipping hospitals and medical centers, rehabilitating and operating them, building the capacities of medical staff, improving public health, enhancing the efficiency of medical services, and honing the skills of medical personnel.
Saudi projects and initiatives for development and reconstruction in Yemen have contributed to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare services in Yemeni provinces, making them more accessible and improving their quality. These projects have also developed human capital, promoted health prevention, and helped maintain the health of Yemeni citizens.
Development projects have provided healthcare services to more than 4 million beneficiaries and supported 26 medical facilities in 9 Yemeni provinces, demonstrating the significant impact of these development projects in the health sector for Yemeni citizens.
The Saudi program for development and reconstruction in Yemen has implemented 264 projects and initiatives in 8 key sectors, including education, health, transportation, energy, water, agriculture, fisheries, and capacity-building programs to support the Yemeni government.
