Over 10 Million Breakfast Meals Served at the Holy Mosques During the First Half of Ramadan

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has provided over 10.8 million breakfast meals for fasting individuals in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan until its midpoint. This initiative is part of their plans to organize and distribute breakfast meals for the guests of Allah. The total number of meals served to the fasting individuals in the two holy mosques reached 10,822,999, in addition to the distribution of 10,290,000 date packets in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, coinciding with the significant increase in the number of visitors and pilgrims during this season.
The Presidency highlighted that the distribution operations were carried out according to organizational and health standards aimed at ensuring the safety of visitors and the smooth provision of the service in the designated breakfast areas inside the two holy mosques and their courtyards. Prior to the month of Ramadan, an electronic service was launched through their official website, allowing individuals, charitable organizations, and endowments to apply for organizing breakfast meals inside the Grand Mosque, contributing to efforts to provide breakfast meals during the holy month.
