Weather advisory: Heavy rain and strong winds causing reduced visibility in multiple regions of the Kingdom.

The National Center of Meteorology is forecasting thunderstorms accompanied by hail showers, strong winds reducing visibility, and possible fog formation in the Eastern region, Riyadh, Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah today. Dust-raising winds are expected in Qassim, Al-Madinah, and Tabuk.

Surface winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 20-45 km/h, reaching over 55 km/h during thundercloud formation in the southern part. Wave heights will range from 1 to 2.5 meters, increasing to over 2.5 meters with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds in the south. Sea conditions will be moderate to rough.

Over the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will be northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 20-48 km/h, increasing to over 55 km/h during thunderstorm formation. Wave heights will range from 1 to 2.5 meters, reaching over 2.5 meters with rain-bearing thunderclouds. Sea conditions will be moderate to rough.
