Civil Defense urges caution as rain continues in most areas until next Friday: Stay away from valleys and areas prone to pooling water.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense issued a warning to the public about the expected continuous thunderstorms in most regions of the Kingdom until next Friday. They advised people to take precautions, stay in safe places, avoid areas prone to flash floods and valleys, refrain from swimming in them, and adhere to the instructions announced through various media outlets and social media platforms.

The region of Mecca is expected to experience moderate to heavy rains, leading to the flow of flash floods, hailstorms, and dusty winds. This weather pattern is expected to affect Taif, Maysan, Adham, and Al-Ardhiyat. Additionally, light to moderate rainfall is expected in the holy city of Mecca, Al-Jumum, Al-Kamil, and Bahra.

The General Directorate also mentioned that the regions of Al-Baha, Asir, and Jazan will experience moderate to heavy rainfall, while the region of Najran will experience moderate rainfall. The region of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah is expected to have light rainfall.
