The Saudi stock index closed higher today, gaining 263.98 points to end at 11,970.19 points, with trading valued at 6 billion riyals. The total number of traded shares was 290 million, with 239 companies recording an increase in their value, while shares of 14 companies closed lower.
Companies like Masar, Asiac, Namaa for Chemicals, Al-Baha, and Riyadh saw the most significant increases, while Gulf General, Al-Tawuniyah, Astra Industrial, United International Holding, and Eastern Development saw declines in trading, with fluctuations between 14.19% and 2.60% in increases and decreases.
The most active stocks in terms of quantity were Al-Baha, Masar, Americana, Saudi Aramco, and Al-Inma, while the most active stocks in terms of value were Masar, Al-Rajhi, Saudi Aramco, Al-Inma, and Al-Ahli.
The parallel Saudi stock index “Nomu” also closed higher today, rising by 374.70 points to close at 30,988.44 points, with trading valued at 49 million riyals and a total of 4.5 million shares traded.
