Thunderstorms hit various regions of the Kingdom.

The National Center of Meteorology predicted in its weather report today that there will be continued moderate to heavy thunderstorms leading to flash floods accompanied by hail showers and strong dusty winds in parts of Najran, Jizan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions, with a chance of fog formation in some mountainous areas of those regions.

The report also mentioned that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northeast to northwest, shifting in the evening to southeast to northeast at a speed of 10-25 km/h in the northern and central parts, and southwest to southeast at a speed of 12-40 km/h in the southern part, reaching over 45 km/h towards the Bab Al-Mandab Strait. The wave height will be from half a meter to a meter in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to a meter and a half in the southern part, reaching two meters towards the Bab Al-Mandab Strait. The sea condition will be light waves in the northern and central parts, and light to moderate waves in the southern part. On the Arabian Gulf, the surface wind movement will be northwest to west, shifting in the evening to southeast to northeast in the northern and central parts, and north in the southern part at a speed of 10-22 km/h. The wave height will be from half a meter to a meter, with light waves on the sea.
