Issuance of Two Royal Decrees

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia issued two royal decrees today, one appointing Prince Khaled bin Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as an advisor in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the other promoting Brigadier General Saleh bin Abdulrahman bin Sameer Al Harbi to the rank of Major General and appointing him as head of the military apparatus.
In the first decree, King Salman referred to the country’s basic law and previous royal decrees before appointing Prince Khaled as an advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The decree was to be implemented by the relevant authorities.
In the second decree, King Salman mentioned the regulations concerning officers and previous royal decrees before promoting Brigadier General Saleh Al Harbi to Major General and assigning him as the head of the military apparatus. The decree was to be carried out by the Minister of the National Guard.
Both decrees were issued after thorough consideration of the presented recommendations by the Minister of the National Guard. They underline the commitment of the Saudi government to strengthen its diplomatic and military capabilities, in line with the country’s ongoing efforts for progress and development.
