Minister of Justice Orders Enhancements to Legal Licensing Services Following Successful Electronic Integration with Relevant Authorities

In an effort to streamline and expedite processes, Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani, the Minister of Justice, has directed the development of the lawyer licensing and renewal services through the Najiz platform. This comes after the completion of the electronic connection process with relevant authorities to obtain the necessary documents for meeting the regulatory requirements for issuing and renewing licenses, eliminating the need for users to attach them when applying for the service.

The electronic linking process for lawyer licensing and renewal services aims to simplify procedures and expedite the issuance of licenses within a specified period. Additionally, license renewal procedures are completed within five days. The electronic linking process contributes to empowering the legal profession by efficiently obtaining licenses after meeting the requirements.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Justice is dedicated to supporting the legal sector and enabling lawyers to perform their duties effectively, contributing to achieving timely justice. This is done through various projects in legislative, professional, procedural, and technological aspects, all launched according to a specific timeline for implementation.
