Crown Prince Meets Sudanese Sovereignty Council President to Discuss Progress and Stability Efforts in Sudan, Emphasizing Security and Stability in the Brotherly Nation.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia received the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council of Sudan, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, at Al Safa Palace in Mecca today. The meeting included discussions on the latest developments in Sudan and efforts towards achieving security and stability in the country. Both parties also explored potential areas of cooperation and agreed to establish a coordination council to enhance bilateral relations across various fields. Everyone then shared a breakfast with the Crown Prince.

The reception was attended by several Saudi officials, including Prince Saud bin Mishal, Deputy Governor of Mecca Region; Prince Turki bin Mohammed, State Minister and Cabinet Member; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud, Minister of Interior; Prince Khalid bin Salman, Minister of Defense; Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dr. Bandar bin Obaid Al-Rasheed, Secretary of the Crown Prince; and Saudi Ambassador to Sudan, Ali bin Hassan Ja’afar.

From the Sudanese side, the attendees included Ambassador Daif Allah Haj Ali, Director of the President’s Office Brigadier Adel Ismail Abu Bakr, and Ambassador Abdelazim Mohamed Al-Sadiq from the Arab Administration.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments and efforts to enhance security and stability in Sudan. Additionally, they explored opportunities for cooperation and agreed to establish a coordination council to strengthen bilateral relations across various sectors. The attendees then enjoyed breakfast together with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Saudi officials present at the meeting included Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region; Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, State Minister and Member of the Cabinet; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense; Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dr. Bandar bin Obaid Al-Rasheed, Secretary to the Crown Prince; and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Sudan, Ali bin Hassan Jaafar.

On the Sudanese side, the meeting was attended by Ambassador to the Kingdom Daif Allah Haj Ali, and Major General Adel Ismail Abu Bakr, Director of the President’s Office, as well as Ambassador Abdelazim Mohamed Al-Sadiq from the Arab Administration.
