The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance has prepared 15,948 mosques and 3,939 open prayer areas across the Kingdom to hold the Eid al-Fitr prayers for the year 1446 AH. This comes after completing all necessary maintenance, operational, and cleanliness tasks, as well as ensuring safety measures are in place. The Ministry’s mission is to care for the houses of worship and their visitors, providing them with an environment conducive to prayer in a state of devotion, humility, and tranquility.
The Ministry emphasized to mosque employees the importance of following the instructions for holding the Eid prayers a quarter of an hour after sunrise according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar. More than 6,000 supervisors have been tasked with monitoring mosques and Eid prayer areas to ensure their readiness.
In case of any shortcomings or deficiencies in the services provided at the mosques, the Ministry urged citizens and residents to contact the Beneficiary Services Center at 1933 to report them. It encouraged everyone to make the most of the Eid days by increasing their virtues, ensuring they attend the Eid prayers with other worshippers, engaging in acts of worship, maintaining family ties, and continuing to do good deeds. The Ministry prayed for everyone’s acceptance and success in their endeavors.
