The National Center of Meteorology has predicted in its weather report for today – by the will of Allah – that there will be medium to heavy thunderstorms, leading to flash floods, accompanied by hail showers and active winds causing dust and sand storms in the regions of Northern Borders, Al-Jawf, Tabuk, Hail, Al-Qassim, Al-Madinah, and Makkah. On the other hand, the rain is expected to be light to moderate in regions like Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province.
The report also mentioned that the surface winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to southwesterly in the northern part, and southeasterly to southwesterly in the central and southern parts at a speed of 15-35 km/h, with wind speeds reaching more than 45 km/h when thunderclouds form in the northern part towards the Bab Al-Mandab Strait. Additionally, wave heights will range from half a meter to a meter and a half, reaching over two meters when thunderclouds form in the northern part. The sea state will be light to moderate waves, turning into rough waves with the formation of thunderclouds in the northern part. The surface winds over the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 10-25 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to a meter, and the sea state will be calm.
