Record-breaking 17.8mm of Rainfall in Al-Jouf as Showers Hit 8 Regions in Last 24 Hours

The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture’s daily report on rainfall amounts in all regions of the Kingdom over the past 24 hours indicated that 24 hydrological and climatic monitoring stations recorded scattered rainfall in 8 regions of the Kingdom. These regions include Makkah, Al-Madinah, Al-Qassim, Asir, Tabuk, Hail, the Northern Borders, and Al-Jouf. The report highlighted that Al-Jouf region recorded the highest amount of rainfall in the Kingdom with 17.8 mm in Al-Shuqaiq, Domat Al-Jandal province. Additionally, Sakaka recorded 10.4 mm at Al-Jouf Airport, 9.0 mm in Khawwa, 8.2 mm in Sakaka city, and 1.3 mm in Talal Ammar.

The report also mentioned that Al-Aweiqila province in the Northern Borders region recorded 11.8 mm, Rafha Airport recorded 6.2 mm, Arar and Arar Airport recorded 5.6 mm each. In Hail region, the rainfall reached 3.2 mm at the Hail Train Station, 2.0 mm in Rawda, Hail, 1.6 mm in Al-Hathatha, Bakhah, and 1.1 mm in Al-Sheehiya, Bakhah.

Aseer region recorded 3.0 mm in Tumayinah, Abha, 1.2 mm in Balasmar, Abha, 1.0 mm in Northern Far’ah, Namas, and 0.7 mm in North Bashair, Balqarn. Additionally, Al-Qassim region recorded 1.6 mm in Al-Nabhaniyah.

Moreover, Al-Madinah region’s Mahdah province and Desa in Duba province, Tabuk region, recorded 0.8 mm. Mecca region recorded 0.6 mm in Hali, Al-Qunfudhah province.
