Organization of Islamic Cooperation applauds signing of treaty between Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan on common borders
The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) welcomed the signing of a treaty between Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan to establish a tripartite international border point and the “Khujand” Declaration of Eternal Friendship among them.
His Excellency the Secretary-General of the OIC, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, congratulated the three countries on this historic achievement, which culminates the process of demarcating their borders and provides a new impetus to their strategic relations.
The Secretary-General of the OIC looked forward to this significant achievement among the three countries contributing to enhancing the foundations of security, stability, cooperation, and economic integration in the region.
