Border Guard patrol in Hail and Jazan thwart drug trafficking and promotion

The General Directorate for Drug Control in Saudi Arabia arrested two individuals in the Hail region for trafficking 16,132 amphetamine tablets and 7.5 kilograms of marijuana. The suspects were detained, legal procedures were taken against them, and they were referred to the public prosecution.
Additionally, border patrols in the Jazan sector thwarted an attempt to smuggle 995 kilograms of the narcotic plant qat. Initial legal measures were completed, and the confiscated items were handed over to the relevant authorities.
Security agencies urge citizens and residents to report any information they may have about drug trafficking activities by contacting 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern region, or 999 in the rest of the Kingdom.
