The National Center of Meteorology has forecasted thunderstorms accompanied by hail showers, strong winds causing dust and sand storms in parts of Al-Madinah, Hail, Al-Qassim, Northern Borders, and the northern parts of Eastern Province today, by the will of Allah.
The report also mentioned that surface winds on the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly in the northern and middle parts, and southeasterly to southwesterly in the southern part at a speed of 20-40 km/h, reaching 50 km/h towards the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait. Wave height will range from one to two meters, rising beyond two meters towards the strait, with moderate waves and swells towards the strait. On the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly at a speed of 15-40 km/h in the northern and middle parts, exceeding 50 km/h with the formation of thunderclouds in the northern part. In the southern part, winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly at a speed of 8-28 km/h, with wave height ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern and middle parts, reaching two meters with the formation of thunderclouds in the northern part, and ranging from half a meter to one meter in the southern part. The sea state will be moderate in the northern and middle parts, becoming rough with the formation of thunderclouds in the northern part, and slight in the southern part.
