The National Center of Meteorology issued a weather report today predicting medium to heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail, strong winds, and dust storms in parts of Mecca, Medina, Qassim, and Hail regions, extending to the northern parts of the Eastern region. Light to moderate rain is expected in parts of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Riyadh, with surface winds stirring dust and dust in parts of Al-Jawf and the Northern Borders region.
The report also mentioned that surface winds over the Red Sea are northwest to north in the northern and central parts, and southeast to southwest in the southern part at a speed of 15-35 km/h, reaching over 50 km/h in the central part with the formation of thunderclouds.
Wave heights are expected to range from one to one and a half meters, reaching over two meters in the central part, with sea conditions varying from light to moderate waves, becoming rough in the central part. Surface winds over the Arabian Gulf will be southeast to east at a speed of 15-35 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters, and sea conditions ranging from light to moderate waves.
