The real estate registry has announced today the start of receiving applications for the initial registration of “207,885” properties in “230” neighborhoods in the Eastern Province, and “252” properties in the Miraat Governorate in the Riyadh region.
Registration has started in “11” neighborhoods in the Jubail Governorate, which are: “Al Marqab, Al Waaha, Al Dana, Al Marjan, Al Dabab, At Tawiyah, Al Bastan, Al Yarmouk, Sanaiya Al Arifi, Al Taawun, At Taibah”. Registration has also begun in the real estate area located between the Abu Hadria Road and the Dhahran Industrial Area Road and the Makkah Road in Dammam city.
In the Al Ahsa Governorate, registration is set to begin in “139” neighborhoods, including areas such as Al Qadisiyah, Al Yarmouk, Al Basateen, Sevilla, and others.
Owners of properties located in these neighborhoods are urged to register their properties before the deadline of Thursday, July 10, 2025. The registration can be checked through the real estate registry platform to see if the property falls within the announced areas.
Property owners are encouraged to register their properties through the real estate registry platform rer.sa or the real estate registry application, and to contact the customer service center at 199002 for inquiries about registration procedures and steps.
It is crucial for property owners to register their properties within the specified period to benefit from the services of the real estate registry and to facilitate real estate transactions, while avoiding penalties and fines as prescribed by the real estate registration system.
The real estate registry reaffirms its commitment to continue registering properties in the designated areas as part of its efforts to increase reliability and transparency in the sector by building a comprehensive real estate registry that serves as a unified reference for all property data in the Kingdom.
The real estate registry will issue a “property number” and a property ownership registration deed for each registered unit, including precise geographic location, owner’s details, property descriptions, status, rights, obligations, and all property transactions. This will serve as a basis for documenting ownership and related property rights to enhance and sustain the real estate sector.
The identification of real estate areas is done based on several criteria by the General Real Estate Authority, which is responsible for property registration according to the Cabinet decision and the provisions of the real estate registration system, with the National Company for Real Estate Registration Services “Real Estate Registry” being tasked with establishing and managing the real estate registry in the Kingdom using geospatial data and modern technologies through an integrated digital platform that promotes transparency and confidence in property services and data.
