Forecasted Temperatures and Weather for Monday, April 7th, 2025

The National Center of Meteorology has forecasted continued thunderstorms with moderate to heavy rain, leading to the possibility of flash floods, hail showers, and active winds causing dust and sand storms in various regions including Al-Baha, Makkah, Al-Madinah, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, Northern Borders, and the northern parts of the Eastern region. Meanwhile, lighter to moderate rainfall is expected in parts of Najran, Jazan, and Asir.

The report also mentioned that surface winds over the Red Sea will be southeasterly to easterly shifting to northeastern to northwestern in the north, and northeasterly to northerly shifting to northwesterly in the middle part at a speed of 10-25 km/h. Winds will be southwesterly to southerly shifting to southeasterly to northeasterly in the south at a speed of 12-35 km/h reaching up to 45 km/h towards the Bab al-Mandab Strait. Wave heights will range from half a meter to one meter in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the south, reaching two meters towards the strait with light waves in the north and central parts, and light to moderate waves in the south.

Over the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will be northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 20-45 km/h in the north and central parts, and northwesterly to westerly at a speed of 20-40 km/h in the south. Wave heights will range from one to two meters in the north and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the south, with moderate waves in the north and central parts, and light to moderate waves in the south.
