The Saudi stock market index closed higher today, gaining 116.83 points to end at 11194.02 points, with total trades valued at 10 billion riyals. A total of 587 million shares were traded, with 150 companies recording an increase in their stock value, while 91 companies saw a decline.
Notable gainers included National Education, Integrated Telecom, Acwa Power, Kingdom Holding, and Dar Al Arkan, while decliners included Batelco, Real Estate Investment, Masraf Al Rayan, Nama Chemicals, and Red Sea. The percentage of increase and decrease ranged between 8.84% and 9.80%.
The most active stocks by volume were Al-Baha, Batelco, Americana, Masar, and Saudi Aramco, while the most active by value were Al Rajhi, Masar, Saudi Aramco, STC, and Al Ahli.
The parallel Saudi stock market index “Nomu” also closed higher today, gaining 2.06 points to reach 28650.28 points, with total trades valued at 46 million riyals and a total of 4 million shares traded.
