Prince of Jazan Chairs Crucial Civil Defense Committee Meeting in the Region

Today, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, the Amir of Jazan region, chaired a meeting of the main civil defense committee in the region. The meeting was attended by the Director of Civil Defense in the region, Major General Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman bin Sultan, as well as members of the committee from military and civilian leadership, held at the Emirate headquarters.

During the meeting, the topics on the committee’s agenda were discussed, along with proposed recommendations and preparations from all relevant parties. The focus was on enhancing coordination and integration between all sectors to ensure a quick response to emergency situations and take necessary measures to address the risks of rain and floods, in accordance with continuous alerts from the National Center of Meteorology.

His Highness emphasized the importance of readiness among relevant parties through working in collaboration to ensure the safety of lives and properties. He praised the preventive measures taken to mitigate the risks of floods and heavy rains, stressing the importance of continuing these efforts and implementing measures for all relevant parties in compliance with the directives of the wise leadership, may God support them.
