Border Guard patrols in Jazan, Asir, and Najran foil smuggling of 247 kilograms of qat and drugs

Border patrols in the Al-Ardah sector of Jazan region foiled the smuggling of 135 kilograms of the narcotic plant, qat. The necessary legal procedures were completed, and the seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities. Similarly, patrols in the Rabuah sector in Asir region apprehended 5 individuals from Yemen and Ethiopia for attempting to smuggle 80 kilograms of qat. The initial legal procedures were completed, and the individuals along with the seized items were handed over for further action. Additionally, patrols in the Sharourah sector in Najran region caught 3 Ethiopian nationals for smuggling 32 kilograms of hashish. Similar legal procedures were followed, and the individuals and confiscated items were handed over to the appropriate authorities.
