Prince of Qassim Inaugurates “Founding Day Memorial” Sculpture on King Abdullah Road in Buraydah

The Prince of Qassim Region, Prince Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, inaugurated the “Foundation Day Monument” on King Abdullah Road in Buraidah city. The monument embodies the traditional architecture of Diriyah with creative engineering designs that reflect its historical authenticity.

During the inauguration, the Prince praised this architectural work as a symbol of pride in the deep-rooted heritage of the nation, representing one of the most important historical milestones of Saudi Arabia. He expressed his gratitude to the Region’s Municipality for executing the project and highlighting the country’s history in innovative ways.

The “Foundation Day Monument” stands out with its unique design inspired by Najdi style, showcasing the authentic architectural elements that characterized Diriyah. It was implemented with meticulous engineering techniques to serve as a visual symbol reflecting the spirit of the Foundation Day and strengthening the connection to national history. The monument was supervised by the Qassim Region Municipality, ensuring it becomes a distinctive addition to the urban landscape in the area, enhancing national identity, and reinforcing values of belonging and pride in the Kingdom’s history.
