The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted cold to extremely cold weather with a chance of frost in the early morning hours in parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jawf, Hail, and Al-Qassim regions, as well as the northern parts of Riyadh and the Eastern Province. Surface winds will also kick up dust and reduce visibility in parts of Al-Madinah, Makkah, Riyadh, and Najran, extending to the eastern parts of Asir and Al-Baha regions.
The sky will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of light rain in parts of central and eastern Saudi Arabia. The report indicated that surface winds over the Red Sea are northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 20-42 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southwest at speeds of 12-35 km/h in the southern part, reaching over 45 km/h towards the Gulf of Aqaba and the Bab al-Mandab strait. Wave height will range from 1.5 to 2 meters in the northern and central parts, and from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the southern part, with moderate to rough sea conditions in the north and center, and light to moderate waves in the south.
On the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will be northerly to northwesterly in the north, and northwesterly to westerly in the central and southern parts at speeds of 20-45 km/h, with wave heights ranging from 1 to 2.5 meters in the central and southern parts, and moderate sea conditions.
