Prince of Najran Welcomes Well-Wishers for Ramadan from Residents and Officials

The Prince of Najran, Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, received well-wishers at his court yesterday, Sunday, to mark the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. Among those who congratulated him were leaders, residents, and officials from the region.
During the gathering, Prince Jalawi conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, emphasizing the significance of the holy month. He highlighted the blessings of Islam and the rulers of the country.
In his address, the Prince stated that reaching this noble month signifies the blessings of Islam and the blessings of the country’s leaders. He praised the generous initiative of the leadership to donate 150 million riyals to the “Jood Al-Manatiq 2” campaign under the “Jood Al-Iskan” platform. This donation reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing its charitable work, emphasizing the values of charitable initiatives, and its continuous leadership in domestic and international charity work.
The Prince urged the elders, businessmen, and philanthropists to participate in the “Jood Al-Iskan” campaign to strengthen the values of unity and compassion encouraged by our religion, customs, and culture, especially during the month of Ramadan, known for its generosity and mercy.
Furthermore, Prince Jalawi commended the initiatives launched by various government entities in Najran, including the “Ajr Wa Afia” initiative organized by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, aimed at educating patients through visits and answering their inquiries to raise awareness in the community about illness-related regulations.
On another note, the Director General of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawa, and Guidance in Najran, Mishaal bin Salem Al-Otaibi, stressed the importance of seizing the opportunity of Ramadan to promote values of tolerance and solidarity among community members. He emphasized the significance of supporting charitable and community work to foster unity and cooperation in line with Islamic teachings and the aspirations of the country’s leaders.
