Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hathleen Honors Winners of Local Competition for King’s Award for Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Holy Quran Under the Patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques

Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hathleen honored the winners of the local competition for the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Prize for Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Quran in its 26th edition. The event was organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Riyadh.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Quran, followed by a visual presentation about the competition and the efforts of the Ministry in organizing and supervising it. The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Dr. Abdulatif Al Al-Sheikh, delivered a speech through video screens, expressing gratitude to the wise leadership for supporting and encouraging the youth of the Kingdom to memorize the Quran and serve Islam and Muslims, as well as care for the Quran.
He also thanked Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hathleen for her presence and honoring of the winners, as well as the wife of the Governor of Riyadh Region, distinguished guests, and the judging committee for their efforts. He prayed for the safety, security, and stability of the country and its leaders.
At the end of the ceremony, Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hathleen awarded the winners in the six categories of the competition and recognized the female judging committee members. The event was attended by several dignitaries, university and academy representatives, and leaders of Quran memorization associations in the Kingdom.
