In a joint effort by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represented by the Joint Coalition Forces and the Support and Support Force, the Governor of Socotra, Engineer Rafat Al-Thaqali, and the leadership of Force 808 for Support and Support affiliated with the Joint Coalition Forces launched a campaign to distribute food baskets and dates in the province. The distribution included about 4000 bags of rice, flour, and sugar, 4500 cartons of legumes and dairy products, and 2500 cartons of dates, with the aim of alleviating the suffering of families and improving their living conditions.
During the launch, Al-Thaqali praised the great support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Socotra archipelago in various developmental, relief, and humanitarian areas, emphasizing that this support greatly contributes to improving the lives of citizens and enhancing the stability of the province.
He also highlighted the continuous efforts of the Support and Support Forces in the humanitarian aspect, and their provision of air flights to transport students, patients, and stranded individuals, in addition to their continuous support in security, relief, and developmental areas, contributing to strengthening security and stability in the province.
This campaign embodies the strong fraternal ties between the Saudi and Yemeni peoples in facing humanitarian challenges.
