Islamic Affairs Department Hosts Ramadan Iftar at Girls’ Arabic Language College in Sri Lanka

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the religious attache in India, organized a Ramadan Iftar banquet at the College of Arabic Language for Girls in the city of Oluvil in the Ampara province of Sri Lanka on the fifteenth of Ramadan 1446 AH. The event was part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ program to provide Iftar meals for fasting individuals and was attended by around 350 beneficiaries.
The Iftar program included religious speeches and awareness lectures that highlighted the significance of the middle ten days of Ramadan and the importance of engaging in righteous deeds during this period. It also shed light on the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting Muslims worldwide and its humanitarian initiatives that are renewed every year, especially during Ramadan through programs implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
Several beneficiaries of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ program expressed their gratitude for this blessed gesture, noting that it was more than just a Ramadan Iftar banquet – it was a gathering that reinforced the values of compassion and embodied the spirit of Islamic brotherhood.
