Thunderstorms to Hit Most Areas Starting Wednesday

The National Center of Meteorology has issued a warning about the continuation of thunderstorms with moderate to heavy rainfall across most regions of the Kingdom from Wednesday to the upcoming Sunday.
According to the center’s forecasts, there is a likelihood of moderate to heavy rainfall intensifying on Thursday accompanied by dusty and sandy winds reaching speeds of 60 km/h or more, along with the possibility of flash floods and hail in the region of Makkah affecting areas such as the holy capital, Jeddah, Rabigh, Al-Jumum, Al-Kamil, Bahrah, Khulais, Al-Lith, Al-Qunfudhah, Taif, Adham, Maysan, Al-Ardhiyat, Al-Muwayh, Al-Khurma, Ranyah, and Turubah.
Most governorates in the Al-Madinah region, including Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Khaybar, Badr, Al-Mahd, Wadi Al-Far’, and Al-Hinakiyah, are expected to experience moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by dusty and sandy winds reaching speeds of 60 km/h, with potential flash floods and hail.
The region of Al-Baha is likely to receive moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by dusty and sandy winds reaching speeds of 60 km/h, along with potential flash floods and hail.
In most parts of the Asir region, there will be moderate to heavy rainfall increasing on Friday and Saturday, accompanied by dusty and sandy winds reaching speeds of 60 km/h, with potential flash floods and hail.
Jazan region will witness moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by dusty and sandy winds reaching speeds of 60 km/h, with potential flash floods and hail, while Najran region is expected to receive moderate rainfall accompanied by dusty and sandy winds, along with flash floods and hail.
Riyadh, Al-Qassim, Hail, Eastern Province, Northern Borders, Al-Jawf, Al-Baha, and Jazan will experience light to moderate rainfall accompanied by strong gusty winds stirring up dust and sand, from tomorrow, Wednesday, until the upcoming Sunday.
