Islamic Affairs Department Sets Up Iftar Tables in Pakistan, Benefiting 12 Thousand Fasting Individuals

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, organized iftar meals during the blessed month of Ramadan this year 1446 AH. Nearly 12,000 beneficiaries in the capital Islamabad, as well as cities and villages across Pakistan, have benefited from this initiative under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ program for feeding the fasting.
The iftar meals were held at the Islamic Center “Islamabad Homes” in the capital, the Quran and Sunnah Center in Lahore, the Masjid Ali Ibn Abi Talib in Rawalpindi, and the Imam Al-Nasai Islamic Center in Islamabad. Additionally, iftar meals were provided at the Tinge Market in Rawalpindi, the Diplomatic Enclave Mosque in Islamabad, and the Noor Mosque in Lahore. The iftar program as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques initiative continues in mosques and Islamic centers in collaboration with official Islamic associations in the country. These efforts, led by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, aim to serve Muslims and promote the principles of Islamic brotherhood during the month of Ramadan this year 1446 AH.
