Finance, Economy, and Planning Ministers Explore Contemporary Artistic and Historical Treasures at Islamic Arts Biennale

Minister of Finance, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, and Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal bin Fadel Al-Ibrahim, visited the second edition of the Islamic Arts Biennale organized by the Diriyah Biennale Foundation at the Western Hajj Lounge in King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah under the theme “And What is Between Them”, running until May 25.
Accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Planning, Engineer Amar Naqadi, the ministers toured the various sections of the exhibition, which displays over 500 pieces of Islamic historical artifacts and contemporary art under one umbrella, showcasing the richness of Islamic heritage and civilization, as well as various forms of creative expression.
The ministers listened to an explanation about the artistic vision of the Biennale, which in its second edition showcases creative works that bridge the past and the present in a rich and continuous series, exploring the greatness of the Creator as embodied by the theme “And What is Between Them”. The Biennale includes participation from over 34 international art institutions, further establishing its position as a central global platform for Islamic arts.
