Five-Language ‘Prayer Guide’ Introduced in Grand Mosque Prayer Areas

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has launched a new “Prayer Guide” at the Grand Mosque to enhance the experience of worshippers. The guide provides a variety of easily accessible content through QR codes spread throughout the prayer halls. The platform offers several features including the Noble Qur’an, an electronic version with search and read options, sermons, and lessons, both recorded and live from the two holy mosques.
It also includes supplications and prayers from a collection of authentic sources, as well as teachings on ablution and prayer with simplified instructions for learning purification and prayer. Additionally, there is a guide for those observing I’tikaf, providing a simple explanation of the concept and its rules, a digital Tawaf tool containing over 170 supplications in text and audio format, and a feature to count the rounds to support the pilgrim’s experience.
The service is available in five languages – Arabic, Urdu, English, Turkish, and French – to ensure inclusivity and enhance the quality of the worshipper’s experience within the Grand Mosque.
