Border Guard Patrols in “Asir, Tabuk, and Jazan” foil smuggling of assorted narcotics

Border guard patrols in the Rub’ al Khali sector in Asir region have arrested two Ethiopian nationals for smuggling 50 kilograms of khat. The necessary legal procedures were taken against them, and they were handed over, along with the confiscated drugs, to the relevant authorities.
Additionally, the border patrols in the Hala sector in Tabuk region foiled an attempt to smuggle 352,275 tablets of the drug amphetamine. The initial legal steps were completed, and the confiscated drugs were handed over to the appropriate authorities.
Furthermore, the border patrols in the Dayer sector in Jazan region intercepted 45 kilograms of hashish being smuggled. Similar legal procedures were carried out, and the confiscated drugs were handed over to the relevant authorities.
Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information they may have about drug trafficking activities by calling “911” in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern region, and “999” in the rest of the kingdom. They can also report information to the General Directorate for Narcotics Control at “995” or via email at “995@gdnc.gov.sa”. All reports will be treated with utmost confidentiality.
